Do you have art at home that sits alone by itself because there is nowhere to display it? Do you have photos that remain on iphoto taking up space on your hard drive that are beautiful but you don't know what to do with them? We have a place for them! Lately our walls have seemed a little drab, and we would love your help spicing things up by contributing some of your artwork to what will soon be our very own gallery at Anchorage City Church. For more information contact Melissa Parkhouse at melissa@accchurch.org.

Healing the Heart Update Over the years we have had a number of people ask if we couldn t do a Healing the Heart in town. Many families with children have said that the long week nights and out of town retreat make it difficult to attend. We are pleased to announce that we have restructured our next workshop to help address some of these issues. Our October 16-23, 2011 workshop schedule will be as follows: Sunday 2:15pm-7:30pm Anchorage City Church Monday through Thursday 6:30pm-9:30pm Anchorage City Church Friday 6:00pm-9:30pm Anchorage City Church Saturday 9:00am-9:30pm Holy Spirit Center Sunday 9:00am-1:30pm Holy Spirit Center Friday night will start our ministry retreat and will be held at Anchorage City Church. Saturday and Sunday the retreat will be at the Holy Spirit Center which is located at the top of O Malley Rd., here in Anchorage. It is approximately 6 miles from the Anchorage City Church. For more information go to www.holyspiritcenterak.org. This is not an overnight retreat although a person could individually reserve a room at the retreat center by calling: 346-2343. We will serve a dinner Friday night, lunch and dinner Saturday and a light lunch/ snacks Sunday. Childcare may be available for Monday to Thursday nights if enough people request it. The cost has been reduced from $180 to $160 ($150 if full payment is made online). For those desiring childcare please check with us. If we have enough people requesting it the price will be $190 ($180 if full payment is made online). Again, childcare will only be available if we have enough people requesting it. If you have any questions or need more information, call Roger Schoeniger at 344-2141 x16 or email him at roger@accchurch.org.
