Andrew Esqueda, Youth Director Wow! I can t believe the school year is already here.we had an incredible summer full of building great relationships, growing our faith, and having lots of fun together!! We also had incredible summer interns Grace Andrade and Avery Herman and our Summer Youth Coordinator Cole Sandridge. Summer was great, and I am looking forward to another amazing year with Trinity Youth. We have a wonderful community, incredible young people, and amazing and supportive families, and I am grateful to be on this journey of life and faith with you. We are especially excited about the renovation of our youth space! And, we are grateful to all of those who have helped support this project. We are especially thankful for the tremendous amount of work that Lacey Jordan and Blaine Kelley put in to making this renovation possible. We are so glad that this space will be available to our youth and to the entire community. As you know, we re all about relationships, and we will continue to foster old relationships and build new ones during the school year. Our new youth space will be a great place where we can do that, but we also have so many awesome trips and events planned for the year. And truthfully, there is no better way to build deep relationships than to come on our winter and summer trips. We hope you ll join us this year whether it s on Sundays, on trips, or just good old hanging out! Inside the rest of this packet you ll find all the information you need about weekly programs, trips, and events for the year. I m looking forward to an amazing 2018-2019 at Trinity Presbyterian Church!

REGULAR PROGRAMS SUNDAY MORNINGS SUNDAYS, 10:00-10:50 AM, YOUTH LOFT We start the morning with a gathering time in our NEW YOUTH SPACE, complete with donuts, hot choclolate, and coffee. At 10:00 am we have announcements, then listen to a talk by one of our leaders, and we often discuss it together in a big group or split into small groups. Our theme for the the fall is ReFresh, and we ll be exploring the ways in which our faith refreshes us, the ways in which our faith can be refreshed, and the areas of our lives that need refreshing. CONFIRMATION Confirmation is open to students in 8th grade or high school who want to make a more profound commitment to their faith and officially become a member of Trinity. It is a time for students to dive deeper into their faith and learn how they can become active members in the faith community here at Trinity. If you re interested in joining the Confirmation Class, please let us know! HIGH SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY TUESDAYS, 6:30 AM, YOUTH LOFT Tuesday mornings during the school year, high school students are invited to an early morning Bible study at 6:30 am. During this time we share what s going on in our lives, read passages of Scripture and discuss them. We will start meeting on September 11th - join the Remind101 text (back page) to keep updated! YOUTH GROUP Every Sunday night we meet to share a meal and grow in community together. This might include a time of worship, a few games, a talk, or just time to hang out. Come and see! 6:00-6:30 PM Youth Supper (everyone) 6:30-7:30 PM Middle and High School Youth Groups - Youth LOFT WE WILL NOT HAVE YOUTH GROUP THESE NIGHTS! It s a fantastic night of great food and fun! LAUNCH SUNDAY On this last night of youth group, we welcome the rising 6th graders into middle school and the rising 9th graders into high school. We also say goodbye to the graduating seniors as we head into summer! THE NEW YOUTH SPACE!! We re so excited about our new youth space! There are going to be many ways in which that space will be open to youth, families, and our greater community. Look for more information coming out soon! STUDY BREAK You have to study for finals, why not study with us? We ll have quiet rooms for you to study as well as games, an open gym, and space to chill when you need a break from studying. Let us know when you re ready. GAME NIGHTS We realize that every so often we all need a break and some time to just have fun. Periodically (usually once a month), instead of regular youth group we will have a game night where we focus on fun and fellowship
