Clergy Spouse Corner The seasons of our life are much like the seasons we live in. God said each season has a purpose: "For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven." Ecc 3:1. We are to live in each season under God's perfect design for our lives. God can lead and guide us. Each season can represent something new within our walk with Christ, within our grace journey towards his wholeness. (In His Graces, Pamela's Blog) Greetings Clergy Spouses! As spouses of clergy we are about to embark upon a new season in the church. When we approach each new season realize there will be bumps in the road. This is when we are given the opportunity to strengthen our walk with Christ. This is when we will need to lean on him more than we have ever before. Christ will see us through every situation in our lives and we will give God all the Glory, Honor and Praise! As most of you know roughly a year ago I had attempted to come together with the clergy spouses on a quarterly basis. My desire was to meet and support each other on our journey and make long and lasting friendships along the way. Due to the death of my son during the Christmas season these plans where put on hold. A few months have passed and I feel I am ready to move forward. If you feel you would be interested in coming together as a group, please call or email me. I will provide my contact information at the end of this article. Also I have noted a possible date, time and place for a gathering. The seasons of our lives are beautiful and full of so many blessings from our Lord. Though each season can hold a negative, the positive far out weighs this. It is our job to travel through each season of our life completely focused on the holiness of God, perfecting ourselves by God's grace, becoming a vessel God can use. (In His Graces, Pamela's Blog) Its's a new season, a perfect opportunity to do something new, something bold, something beautiful. God Bless, Pat Duncan 443-736-4242 pdhonda1@gmail.com Gathering Date: Saturday, 10/15/16 DS Parsonage 10:00 til 12:00 1404 Camden Ave Salisbury, MD 21801

Mission Minded Bethany UMC - Berlin On September 8-10, members and friends of Bethany Church traveled to Crisfield, MD for a Volunteers in Mission (VIM) trip. Three teams divided up and worked at four homes during the visit. The sites are described by the focus of work: 1) Replacing a porch railing, 2) Repairing a drywall ceiling, 3) Major yard cleanup, and 4) Interior painting and ceiling repair. Our work was supported locally by Ben Botti and Gordy Taylor, who Mission Central in Crisfield coordinate VIM teams in the Crisfield area. We were also blessed to have the company of Rev.
