Worship Service For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Romans 4:3 Prelude Welcome Ministry Minutes Orphan Sunday Erin Tracht & Friends Silent Prayer of Preparation Call to Worship *Hymn of Adoration From all that Dwell below the Skies #3 (2 nd tune) *Invocation Confession of Sin Father, you exhort us in your Word to care for the weak and the oppressed, for the fatherless and the widow; you call us to open our hearts and our homes to those in distress. But we confess that we, who have so much, have often neglected those who have so little. We have not always remembered Jesus words, Whoever receives one of these little children in my name receives me. Forgive us for times when we were self-centered and cold-hearted, and forgive us for all other sins that so easily beset us. Give us hearts that reflect the love of Christ, who said, Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. In his precious name we ask this. Amen. Assurance of Pardon Psalm 103:11-14 *Songs of Praise Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing Come Thou fount of ev'ry blessing Tune my heart to sing Thy grace Streams of mercy never ceasing Call for songs of loudest praise Teach me some melodious sonnet Sung by flaming tongues above Praise the mount I'm fixed upon it Mount of Thy redeeming love

(below) *Benediction (followed by an opportunity to pray with the elders) And Can It Be? Charles Wesley And can it be... that I should gain an interest in the Savior s blood? Died He for me, who caused His pain? For me, who Him to death pursued? Amazing love! How can it be... that thou, my God, shouldst die for me? Refrain Amazing love! How can it be That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me? Tis mystery all! Th immortal dies: who can explore His strange design? In vain the first born seraph tries to sound the depths of love divine. Tis mercy all! Let earth adore, let angel minds inquire no more. Refrain He left His Father s throne above (so, free, so infinite His grace!), Humbled Himself (so great His love!), and bled for all His chosen race. Tis mercy all, immense and free; for, Oh my God, it found out me. Refrain Long my imprisoned spirit lay fast bound in sin and nature s night; Thine eye diffused a quickening ray; I woke the dungeon flamed with light; My chains fell off, my heart was free; I rose went forth and followed Thee.
Refrain No condemnation now I dread; Jesus, and all in Him is mine! Alive in Him, my living Head, and clothed in righteousness divine, Bold I approach the eternal throne, and claim the crown, through Christ, my own. Refrain Sermon Notes
