Worship Service For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Romans 4:3 Prelude Welcome Ministry Minutes Orphan Sunday Erin Tracht & Friends Silent Prayer of Preparation Call to Worship *Hymn of Adoration From all that Dwell below the Skies #3 (2 nd tune) *Invocation Confession of Sin Father, you exhort us in your Word to care for the weak and the oppressed, for the fatherless and the widow; you call us to open our hearts and our homes to those in distress. But we confess that we, who have so much, have often neglected those who have so little. We have not always remembered Jesus words, Whoever receives one of these little children in my name receives me. Forgive us for times when we were self-centered and cold-hearted, and forgive us for all other sins that so easily beset us. Give us hearts that reflect the love of Christ, who said, Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. In his precious name we ask this. Amen. Assurance of Pardon Psalm 103:11-14 *Songs of Praise Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing Come Thou fount of ev'ry blessing Tune my heart to sing Thy grace Streams of mercy never ceasing Call for songs of loudest praise Teach me some melodious sonnet Sung by flaming tongues above Praise the mount I'm fixed upon it Mount of Thy redeeming love

Here I raise mine Ebenezer Hither by Thy help I'm come And I hope by Thy good pleasure Safely to arrive at home Jesus sought me when a stranger Wand'ring from the fold of God He to rescue me from danger Interposed His precious blood O to grace how great a debtor Daily I'm constrained to be Let Thy grace, Lord like a fetter Bind my wand'ring heart to Thee Prone to wander Lord I feel it Prone to leave the God I love Here's my heart Lord take and seal it Seal it for Thy courts above Prone to wander Lord I feel it Prone to leave the God I love Here's my heart Lord take and seal it Seal it for Thy courts above Reign In Us Ben Glover Jon Neufeld Tim Neufeld Verse 1 You thought of us before the world began to breathe And You knew our names before we came to be You saw the very day we'd fall away from You And how desperately we need to be redeemed Lord Jesus come lead us We're desperate for Your touch Chorus Oh, great and mighty One With one desire we come That You would reign That You would reign in us We're offering up our lives A living sacrifice That You would reign That You would reign in us

(below) *Benediction (followed by an opportunity to pray with the elders) And Can It Be? Charles Wesley And can it be... that I should gain an interest in the Savior s blood? Died He for me, who caused His pain? For me, who Him to death pursued? Amazing love! How can it be... that thou, my God, shouldst die for me? Refrain Amazing love! How can it be That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me? Tis mystery all! Th immortal dies: who can explore His strange design? In vain the first born seraph tries to sound the depths of love divine. Tis mercy all! Let earth adore, let angel minds inquire no more. Refrain He left His Father s throne above (so, free, so infinite His grace!), Humbled Himself (so great His love!), and bled for all His chosen race. Tis mercy all, immense and free; for, Oh my God, it found out me. Refrain Long my imprisoned spirit lay fast bound in sin and nature s night; Thine eye diffused a quickening ray; I woke the dungeon flamed with light; My chains fell off, my heart was free; I rose went forth and followed Thee.

Refrain No condemnation now I dread; Jesus, and all in Him is mine! Alive in Him, my living Head, and clothed in righteousness divine, Bold I approach the eternal throne, and claim the crown, through Christ, my own. Refrain Sermon Notes

Focus on Missions Eddie & Annie Park/RUF/Brown RISD The new season started out great with over 100 people attending their first Friday night gathering. They continue to put forth the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for God is faithful, always has been and always will be to His church. Please pray that the leaders will establish a good weekly routine of ministry and demonstrating of love for one another and for the students they serve. Result of the Vote to Change the By-Laws The result of the vote at the October 29 th Congregational Meeting was that the changes were approved with 84 yes votes and 2 abstentions. Hospitality Meeting There will be a Hospitality Committee meeting after the worship service on November 19th in the back of the sanctuary. Book Drive Joanna Goedeke has a service opportunity that she would like to share with the church. Her living learning community (the Make A Difference House) is partnering with the organization Brown Girl Fearless, to collect books for children living in homeless shelters and transitional homes. Books for kids from birth to 12th grade are requested. Donation boxes will be set up in both the church and school. Last day to donate will be before church service on the 26th of November. In God We Trust Small Group The IN GOD WE TRUST Group is starting again with a series from John Ankerburg Ministries "the book of REVELATION". The first meeting will be November 26th. Followed by December 3rd and 10th. Meeting in the Fellowship Hall from 12:30 to 1:30ish. Bring your own lunch.

Thank You I want to say thank you to all at Liberty Church for your faithful prayers these last few weeks during my two rounds of eye surgery. It has been a blessing to know so many prayers were being offered on my behalf during these weeks. Thank you for your cards, words of encouragement, and the special fruit basket sent on behalf of the Church. I very much appreciate your support and prayers during this time.
