We have reached the end of another church year. Annual meetings and elections have been held; new boards seated and some congregations have new department heads. In July we will gather for our conventions and District Assembly. As we look ahead to the new church year I would encourage you to follow the heart of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 3:13b-14 but one thing I do; forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on to the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (NASB) The past is past, we cannot go back and there is no reason to dwell on what we cannot change. By God s grace let s look to the future and the abundant promise it holds in Christ Jesus
