I know there has been a few bumps along the way and many members have had health issues, but chapter wise it s been a great year. So thank you so much for all who have stepped in and made such a difference. I ve couldn t have done all that has been accomplished this year without you all. We truly have such great members. I am looking forward to another great year, and wishing for a healthier one for you all. Since we are at the end of the year, please, if you have remaining receipts that need to be turned in, this is the time to get them into Barbara. She will be closing out our books for the year very soon. So all such receipts must be turned in by our December 9 th meeting. We will not be able to reimburse receipts dated 2017 in the new year. Our receipts and dates on them need to correspond for tax purposes. Thank you for understanding. I hope all of our members will be coming to our holiday party? I m looking forward to it. I know Mary Robinson and her committee has been working really hard to make it very special for us all. Plus we do have our traditional Board Ornament Raffle. So bring your money to buy some tickets. Next year we are off to a great start. Our calendar for chapter classes is all done. Cathy Frazier started passing them out at our last meeting. And signups for January have begun also. You don t want to miss out. Cathy will be teaching in January. It will be a very cute bunny on a little heart pillow by Deb Antonik. We all know what a great teacher Cathy is, so please sign up ASAP. For 2018, I have the board and committee chair positions filled already. Thank you again for your willingness to hold a position in our chapter. With that said, mark your calendars. January 5, 2018 at my house there is going to be a Transition Meeting and luncheon, starting at 10:00am. This is for past and new committee and board members. Those who have had the position will be passing their books over to the new person with instructions on how to do the job. And afterwards there will be a amazing lunch. Should I call it a feast? Put it this way, you will want to come hungry for this meeting. Then following lunch there will be our first board meeting for 2018. If any of you cannot attend, please give me a call as soon as possible. I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving. See you at the holiday party with bells on! Keep smiling. Be happy. Life is good. Hugs to you all, and cheers to a new year. Gwen
