We started under a tent during a Gospel Meeting. We moved to a Masonic Hall, and then to a building that eventually became a flower shop. We grew and began gathering in what used to be a large home on Highland Street. We built a large multi-story building around that home. For a couple of years we met at Harding Academy and Harding School of Theology. And since 2010 we ve gathered at our campus on 400 N. Houston Levee Road. Each space has been special a place where friendships formed, faith decisions were made, callings and promptings from God were heard and obeyed, new ministries launched, losses lamented, and victories celebrated. Each is now a milestone along a larger journey, a reminder that the church is ultimately not a place but a people. Today we celebrate this journey, these people and the One who s led our way.
