BEDFORD As was announced at Masses, Fr. David will be leaving his assignment here on June 27th to assume his new responsibilities as Administrator of St. Christopher Parish in Nashua. There will be a Parish Reception for Fr. David on Sunday, June 24th after the noon Mass in the Parish Activity Center. Plan on coming by to thank him for his ministry here at St. Elizabeth Seton. Thank You for Praying for Voca ons! "Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. ~ Matthew 9:38 On Saturday June 2nd, parishioners gathered to offer a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration to pray for priestly vocations in our diocese. In unison with prayer vigils and Masses that were celebrated at every parish throughout the state, we can be confident that our efforts will help the next generation of holy priests say 'yes' to the Lord! Please continue to fervently pray for those called to priesthood and religious life. Amidst the many challenges of hearing God's voice in such a noisy and distracting world, young people need our spiritual support to answer their vocation...and you never know, a future priest might be sitting near you in the pews! Prayer for Priestly Vocations Lord Jesus Christ, Shepherd of souls, who called the apostles to be fishers of men, raise up new apostles in your holy Church. Teach them that to serve you is to reign: to possess you is to possess all things. Kindle in the hearts of our people the fire of zeal for souls. Make them eager to spread your Kingdom upon earth. Grant them courage to follow you, who are the Way, the Truth, and the Life; who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.
