Dear Parishioners, As part of this year s UPP, Gala on the Green, we are again designating one part of the evening as an opportunity to raise money which will go directly toward the school s technology plan. This portion of the evening is called Stand-Up for Technology. Before dinner starts on the evening of May 16, we will ask everyone in attendance to consider making a donation specifically for this fund. You won t want to miss the video of our children and their teachers showing how technology has and will continue to improve their education. And then we will be asking you to STAND-UP. Everyone who is willing to contribute $10 to this fund will be asked to stand. Then we will continue to raise the bar, asking everyone who can, to remain standing at $20, $50 and so on. At whatever level you are comfortable giving, you will sit down and fill out a donation card that will be located on your table. Last year the majority of donations were less than $100 and we raised over $50,000! This helped the school No contribution is too small. We hope you will consider making a donation to this important cause in addition to the other wonderful auction items and raffles available at the UPP. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, May 16 at Gala on the Green. Best regards, The UPP Committee If you have any questions regarding Stand-Up for Technology or the UPP in general, please contact us at upp@qasparish.org.
