Point to Ponder What s in a Name Isaiah 9:6 is one of my favorite passages. Jesus is called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Isaiah saw that He was unique-both God and Man. Easter time is a good time to reflect on those names. Wonderful takes care of the dullness of life, Jesus Christ makes everything wonderful. Counselor takes care of the decisions of life. We will no longer be baffled by the problems of life, wondering what to do next. The Mighty God takes care of the demands of life. And life is demanding! The Everlasting Father takes care of the dimensions of life. We can become part of eternity! The Prince of Peace takes care of the disturbances of life. How we long for lasting peace within. A Point to Ponder! In Him, Pastor Wayne Easter Flowers Once again, we are planning to adorn our sanctuary with flowering plants on April 16th, Easter Sunday.
