Please contact the Parish Office for further information. PARISH MEMBERSHIP New members need to contact the Parish Office to register for an Evening of Welcome at which time the process of formally becoming a parishioner will be initiated. We receive many requests for certificates of sponsorship for Baptism and Confirmation. Certificates can only be given to registered members of the parish who actively practice their faith. Members are those who regularly attend Mass and participate in and support the life of the Church. The purpose for this practice is to prepare our hearts for the upcoming World Meeting of Families which will occur in Philadelphia this September. Even though this wonderful act of connecting us as a parish family has been in effect for seven months, there are still individuals inquiring why we are praying for these special intentions. We are a community of faith and a family and, like all families, there are those that are not always with the program. As we come close to the September event, we will be finishing this practice very soon. Does this mean that we will no longer pray for the families of our community? Of course not. It is a great practice and we need to continue to focus on the many individuals who make up our family. Look to the coming year for a new way of remembering in prayer those that make up our community of faith. Please pray the Family Prayer for the following families. World Meeting of Families Prayer God and Father of us all, in Jesus, your Son and our Savior, you have made us your sons and daughters in the family of the Church. May your grace and love help our families in every part of the world be united to one another in fidelity to the Gospel. May the example of the Holy Family, with the aid of your Holy Spirit, guide all families, especially those most troubled, to be homes of communion and prayer and to always seek your truth and live in your love. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, pray for us! 6/28: 6/29: 6/30: 7/1: 7/2: 7/3: 7/4: Porubsky Potenta, B. Potenta, E. & M. Potenza Powick Prager Presto Presuto, I.
