182nd Tri-Annual Conference (Torrance Marriott South Bay; Torrance, CA) Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory (I Timothy 1:17) and to the elite and elect Resident Bishops, Suffragan Bishops, District Elders, Pastors, and all of the host of CDC constituents, a very warm and heart felt welcome is extended to you. I am strengthened and encouraged by our theme, Pursue and Recover All (I Samuel 30:8). David had to encourage himself in the Lord, and what followed was the answer from the Lord to pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. It is time to roll up our sleeves, and take a stand, for the battle is not ours, but it is the Lord s. This conference is designed specifically for this day and time and the need of the people to be encouraged. Every seminar, workshop, or service is designed to strengthen and fortify. The end result of the battle was David smote them all And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all (I Samuel 30:19). I am confident that every person attending this conference will be fortified and uplifted, and will not return home the same. I admonish every attendee to take advantage of the scheduled events therein, as these are the necessary tools and ammunition for you to Pursue and Recover All. Again, welcome thank you for your support, and I extend my sincere appreciation to our CDC Chairman, Dr. Robert T. Douglas, Sr. and his team of excellence for their planning and organizing efforts towards the success of this Conference. In The Master s Service, Bishop Henry L. Johnson, D.L., D.D. Diocesan 16 th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.

Do you fully understand the World Wide Web? Do you understand the undertones, subliminal messages and marketing lures that are simply a point and click away? This seminar will take an in-depth look at what our internet usage and consumption may be saying about our relationship with God. 12:30PM 1:30PM Lunch Break 1:30PM 3:00PM Bible Trivia, Family Feud and Other Activities Suite 11 FRIDAY, MARCH 11 11:00AM 12:20PM Stepping Out: Teens in Ministry Suite 11 Facilitator: Pastor Tobaise Brookins God has something for people of all ages to do, however for many young people finding the support to Step Out can be difficult and discouraging. In this forum we look at issues often overlooked in the church that arrest development of our next leaders of the church and provide them a game plan to step freely into the callings and giftings. 12:30PM 1:30PM Lunch Break 1:30PM 3:00PM Teens Understanding Credit Suite 11 Facilitator: Ms. Jacqueline Panos, Financial Literacy Assn (San Diego) Young people are one of the most targeted groups for predatory creditors, and bad financial decisions at an early age can lead to damaging long term ramifications. Shop til You Drop or Save til it Hurts? Main Ballroom Facilitator: Minister Kim Graham, Celebrity & Church Accountant Although the Word of God tells us in Philippians 4:19 that He will supply our every need according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus, it is important for us as young believers to learn how to separate our NEEDS from our WANTS at an early age. This workshop will focus on the importance of saving and making our money work for us. It s Only A Test! Suite 3 Facilitator: Minister Jessica Yeargin, Rivers of Living Waters Apostolic Outreach No matter how much faith we have, students sometimes have difficulty taking tests and struggle with test anxiety. This workshop will instruct young people on how to develop good study skills and habits so that they will be better equipped for testing on both the high school and collegiate levels. 11:00AM 11:50PM Saved AND Approved Main Ballroom Facilitator: Elder Richard Holmes, Bethlehem Temple Church Some believers, especially the new ones, are at a roadblock when it comes to effectively studying the Word of God and are oftentimes not able to accurately represent their faith. This workshop will help young believers to become better equipped with spiritual tools by teaching them how to study the Word of God according to II Timothy 2:15. A Public Success, But A Private Failure Suite 2 & 4 Facilitator: Pastor Michelle Beal, Church of Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith The title of this workshop is credited to a sermon preached by Dr. Robert T. Douglas, Sr. a few years ago. Believers, especially young people, deal with the pressures of living up to the standards of holiness every day. It is often difficult to separate man s law from GOD s law. When we fall short, we have bouts with hypocrisy and many of us internalize these struggles while remaining seemingly holy on the outside. This workshop will focus on the personal pain that young people often feel when going through the slow and painful process of growth and development. 12:00PM - 1:00PM Lunch Break 1:00PM 1:50PM Mid-Day Hour of Power Main Ballroom Speaker: Pastor William Benson, Total Deliverance Worship Center 2:00PM - 3:20PM PYPU Mass Choir Rehearsal Main Ballroom 10
