Ancient Order of Hibernians 151 Watertown Street PO Box 11 02471 RETURN SERVICE REQUESTED JUNE 2013 NEWSLETTER!
Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 14 PO Box 11 02471 Joe McCusker JUNE 2013 NEWSLETTER AOH President s Message Go raibh milé maith agaibh Many thanks to the membership who took the time to participate in the Memorial Day Parade, to the many volunteers who helped out before, during and after most of the folks were long gone and also to those that couldn t march but still came out and supported the Division. This day will long be remembered as a true sign of what being a Hibernian is all about. The representation and show of support from our out of town brothers and sisters was overwhelming. I have received many correspondences of congratulations and thanks for the display the Hibernians put on in the parade. Congratulations one and all great job! The Scholarship Night, as usual, turned out to be a very nice evening due in large part to membership participation, first-rate entertainment, and the hard work put forth by Doc Prince and Desi McElroy. Congratulations and best of luck to the well deserved recipients. On a little bit of a somber note I can t help but reflect on our recently deceased and at times wonder why. Why so soon. I can only take solace in knowing that as our Faith has taught us our departed are in a better place. God broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best. Please keep our deceased in your prayers. As we come upon the Summer Season please be careful and know that even though we won t have our next regular meeting until September don t be a stranger. The door is always open, at least for a member in good standing. Yours in Faith, Unity and Christian Charity, Joseph P. McCusker Jr. 2
