Parents must be married in the Catholic Church. 2. If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before they can have their children baptized. 3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation). 4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate from the Church where they were married. 5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to come. 6. To have your child baptized, contact Joan at 272-3463 to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class. 7. 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time 6 JARROW JUNE LUNCHEON. The Jarrow Club will have their June Luncheon on June 13th at Jan's Beach House Grill at 11:30 am. Jan's is on the Eastern Blvd where the old Shoney s was many years ago. It is pay for your own and is the last meeting until September 12th. Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School has a long history built on faith, family and tradition, started by the Sisters of Loretto many years ago. As you may know, Montgomery Catholic recently completed an extensive strategic planning process, including a planning study. The goal was to evaluate their needs to ensure the school s strengths, opportunities and challenges, and determine support for those needs. The results show strong support for two important improvements. The first improvement calls for a new gymnasium at Montgomery Catholic to enhance its physical education and athletic programs. The second improvement involves converting the Fr. Delahunty Gymnasium into a facility dedicated to the performing arts program, which has recently seen tremendous growth. We are pleased to tell you that the archdiocese granted its official approval for these projects. With that, we are excited to announce the beginning of the Building on Faith, Family and Tradition! Capital Campaign for Montgomery Catholic. This campaign seeks to build on the mission of proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping students grow to become persons of faith, virtue and wisdom.
