Your support and generosity will make life a little better for families far into the future. God Bless you. Fr. Everybody is encouraged to attend the Wall Raising Ceremonies in 2 weeks on Jan 25. For more information attend the upcoming meeting or contact John or Patricia at: thecasahabitat@gmail.com Consider joining the Apache Fair Trade Crafting Ministry The Faith in Action Ministry continues to support the Apache Crafters in San Carlos and Whiteriver by selling their products in the Phoenix area. At the large December sale, more than $2,600 of merchandise was sold. However, most of the sales are smaller and take place at the FRC during the week and on Saturdays when there are large groups meeting at the Casa. Teams of 2-3 people work the regular sales. The shift is usually 3-4 hours in length. A couple of times a year, big sales are set up so the Casa community can shop. In order to offer these sales more often, we need more people to sell. In addition, we are looking at new ways to market the products. To be in this ministry you need to: Have a desire to learn the history of the Apache culture of crafting and use this knowledge to promote sales. Be able to set-up various craft sales and assist in braking down the displays at the close of the event. Be comfortable with monetary transactions. If you are interested, contact Patti Sills-Trausch at socialconcerns@thecasa.org or call x 130. We are hosting a gathering of all the Casa volunteers on Tuesday, Jan 21, from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Cassandra Jarles from Habitat s Central Arizona office will provide an overview of how Habitat for Humanity works and how we partner with them. Sign-up sheets for the upcoming build dates will be available.
