Background In November 2009, with a dream and vision to impact in the world in a large way.the Ride Nature Organization was born. With a mission and purpose to make a difference in the lives of individuals living in poverty, the organization was formed to bring the world of board sports alongside the Truth to change the lives of individuals around the globe. But not only are we involved internationally, but we are also working in multiple communities here in the U.S. to see to it that ALL children have the opportunity to Ride Nature. Where did the idea of our name Ride Nature come from? Well, it actually came from nature itself. Nature is the fuel and the source for almost all board sports. His many adventures include stories of skydiving, road tripping across the U.S., being a contestant on the Price is Right, teaching snowboard lessons in Vail, CO, running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, and the stories just keep going. In between the travels and the pursuit of the next best thing, Mark graduate college from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2008 with a B.A. Degree in Communication and Graphic Design. Shortly after graduating and realizing the greatest pursuit in life comes only through an intimate relationship with the Creator of it all, Mark met his wife Shannon who shared an equal passion for the world and a desire to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through missions. In Nov. of 2009 Mark and Shannon were married and soon felt the Lord laying it on their hearts to start the ministry, Ride Nature. With a vision to utilize their passions and a dream to partner those alongside their ultimate passion, Jesus Christ, the Ride Nature organization was born.
