It s also susceptible to burnout and significant attack by the enemy. Regardless of denominational affiliation, these statistics are grim reminders that ministry can be messy. 50 percent of Christians in ministry will have an affair. 80 percent of Christians in ministry will be in a completely different vocation in 5 years. 85 percent of Christians in ministry have spouses who wish they had a different occupation. In order for the Foursquare Church to take the whole gospel to the whole world, we must be led by healthy men and women, men and women with clarity and courage to bring people to Jesus and Jesus to people. Learning opportunities at Foursquare Connection: Collaborative Learning Tracks on Wednesday A four-hour collaborative learning track for leaders to gather within peer-based environments to explore missional practices that will set us on our global course of developing healthy reproducing leaders who lead healthy reproducing churches contextually, creatively, and courageously. Co:laborative We must face our future together. The landscape of the world has changed and is changing. For us to move into our tomorrows, we must foster a co:laboring spirit. And so we commit that each learning environment will support this posture through well-storied practitioners providing guidance, while making room for meaningful dialogue and networking. Peer-based For the co:laborative spirit to root we ve designed each learning environment to be peer based. Peer-based can be defined as you participating with others who lead similar numeric size churches. This allows for your current story to be shared, challenges to be understood, and hope for your future to be encouraged. Missional Practices Holding to a strong belief that mission and missional presence are intrinsic dimensions of the church s life and calling, we seek to outline simple and contextual practices that align with the future vision and direction of The Foursquare Church. How community will happen at Foursquare Connection 2011: Hotels: At the Hyatt Regency Columbus and the other participating Foursquare Connection hotels, togetherness will happen.
