JOHN 20:24-25 (NIV) A P P E A R A N C E S : - to Thomas Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it."
So, what is it about doubt that can make it good or bad? Doubt can quickly get in the way of faith. When doubt is allowed to rule, faith is clogged up. But faith seems to grow out of doubt. Certainty doesn t make room for faith - doubt does. So maybe what I need is flexible doubt that can yield to faith and trust after being awakened. GARY STANLEY AFTER THE PASSION

So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.
