Mass for World Day of the Sick Saturday, February 10, 11:00 am St. Mary s Cathedral, 1111 Gough Street, San Francisco Principal Celebrant: Cardinal William Levada The Anointing of the Sick will take place. All are invited. The event is sponsored by the Order of Malta, which will arrange rides for people who need them. The Order of Malta says: Bring a friend who is sick and experience a special time of prayer and sharing, of offering one s suffering for the good of the Church and of reminding everyone to see in his sick brother or sister the face of Christ. The theme for this year s Day of the Sick is provided by the words that Jesus spoke from the Cross to Mary, his Mother, and to John: Woman, behold your son Son, behold your mother. And from that hour the disciple took her into his home (John 19:26-27). For information or assistance, please contact Kenneth Ryan, KM, 415-613-0395 kenmryan@aol.com.
