Connect with God, Connect with others, Connect others with God all through Jesus C H U R C H H I G H L I G H T S March, 2018 Ephesians 1 contains one of the most incredible promises in the Bible for you and me. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead Easter is the power of life defeating the power of death. Easter is hope triumphing over despair. Easter is good conquering evil. Easter is love undiminished by heartache. Easter is a new beginning transforming old patterns. Easter is the dawn of possibility dispelling the darkness of dejection. Easter is the miraculous overriding the natural. Easter is provision lifting up the helpless. Easter is just as much about you and me as it is about Jesus. Take a moment to open your heart to the God who can make the truths of Easter your reality. The truth of this promise is that the same power that resurrected Jesus is working in your life. This is why we celebrate Easter. The amazing reality is that Easter is always described in the Bible as only the beginning, or the first-fruits, of what God intends to do for us. Consider this list:
