Prayer Gatherings Each Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. there is a prayer gathering held at Elim. Also, there is a Wednesday morning prayer group meeting in Pastor s office at 7:00 a.m. You are encouraged to come and pray with the team members and share your requests/praises.,prayer Chain The prayer network is used when special needs arise during the week. WELCOME JEREMY FALK Today we welcome our guest speaker, Jeremy Falk. Jeremy is a Covenant church planter, establishing a church with the help of Jesus People U.S.A. in the Uptown neighborhood in Chicago. ************ Please join us after the worship service for our Cinco de Mayo Taco Dinner to raise funds for Juanita s next mission trip to Colombia. If you have one at home, please bring it to church so they can be returned. Thanks. ************ We are in the process of updating our church directory. Addresses, phone numbers, and emails all change and we want to ensure that we have your correct information. We are providing a form for you to fill out and return to the church office by Sunday, May 13. If your information hasn t changed, no need to submit the form. We will use the information that is in the current directory.

Also, we are going to be creating a pictorial church directory that we will be able to place in a secure online directory. Victoria Fowler will be taking pictures after the worship service on May 13 and 20 if you would like a new picture for it. If you have a favorite family picture you would like to use, we can do that instead. Email a digital copy to the office email address or bring in a photo to be scanned. You won t want to be left out. ****************************************** On Thursday, May 10, at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Timothy O Brien will be teaching a short seminar on Team Leadership at Elim. Tim teaches at North Park University in their School of Business and Non-Profit Management. It s a wonderful opportunity, and even more so as there is no cost for you to attend! This is open to everyone and is the first of many equipping opportunities we're putting together opportunities that will help you in all areas of life in the home, at church and in the workplace. Please sign up so we know how many to plan for. ********** Anna Swanson will be hosting a summer book club in her home June 5 to July 3, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 5110 6 th Avenue, Moline. Please sign up so she knows how many to plan for.
