25 th November, 2013 QUOTE - 7 HABITS AT HOME Recently, students completed a Dream Board as part of their home activities. The Dream Board project is really all about encouraging children to think big and think about all the possible things that they can see, feel, do and be in this wonderful world. Expanding their thinking outside of the four walls of school and home. Evoking curiosity of what could be if they were to decide to go for it. The more real and detailed a dream becomes in your mind the more likely one is to achieve it. (from 7 Habits @ Home Mission I mpossible. OUR WEEK We had a great time in Grade 3 last week writing letters to our family and friends and we hope the students get some wonderful responses when they send them. In Maths we looked at different ways to collect and organise data with some very creative results. It was fantastic to see all the Dream Board projects come back to school as they were all so different. This week is set to be a very big one for us with a huge final Leadership Day this Wednesday. We can t wait to have our children share their learning with all our special guests! Literacy Letter writing and prepositions This week s focus: Maths Maps and Symmetry Inquiry Family Heritage

When you bump yourself, tiny blood vessels in your skin break. Blood leaks out and spreads under the skin, making a coloured splotch. As a bruise heals, its colour changes because the blood cells break down into smaller, yellowish pieces. These are gradually taken away, and the bruise fades. AWARDS Well done to our Stars of the Week Bernadette and Georgia and Habit award winners Georgia and Bailey. HAVE A LOVELY WEEK! Grade 3W Grade 3B Miss Laura Wapling Miss Megan Berriman
