Congratulation to 3/4V for being the highest money raisers in the school last week. Ciara & Anthony Social Justice Leaders St. Patrick s Breastplate Tomorrow 17 th March is the Feast Day of St. Patrick. St. Patrick's Breastplate is a popular prayer attributed to one of Ireland s most beloved patron saints. According to tradition, St. Patrick wrote it in 433 A.D. for divine protection before successfully converting the Irish King and his subjects to Christianity. This is a shorter version for the children: I arise today Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me. I arise today. Weekly Class Mass On Friday 23rd March Year 1/2K will be attending the 9:15am parish mass. Family and friends are invited to sit with, celebrate and join the children in prayer. ST MARY S CHOIR NEWS CONFIRMATION MASS FRIDAY, 23 RD MARCH REMINDER A reminder that the Choir will be leading the singing at the Confirmation Mass on Friday, March 23 rd at 7pm in the Church. All members of the choir will need to wear their summer uniforms and arrive by 6.40pm. Parents do not have to remain in the church during the ceremony and are more than welcome to bring their child to me at the church and return to pick them up from me at approximately 8.15pm. Thank you to the parents who have responded via Care Monkey to confirm their child s attendance.i am looking forward to hearing all of the angelic voices.
