Grace and Peace be multiplied to you in the name of Jesus Christ! Greetings to all of the saints of the California District Council. It is with great enthusiasm that we gather in this greater Los Angeles city of Torrance to worship, praise and lift up the name of Jesus. I am grateful for your sacrifice and commitment to this Council and its leadership down through the years and hope that we can continue to count on your unwavering support. This council has endured many transitions over the years and we now find ourselves restructuring and delicately navigating to the next phase of ministry on this Pacific coast. The challenges ahead are going to necessitate your input and full cooperation if we are to be successful. Therefore, let me encourage you to wholeheartedly support our vision and give us your cooperative energies that God may be glorified in our work. Let us thank our Chairman Suffragan Bishop Robert Douglas and his staff for planning beneficial services for our spiritual nourishment. Lady Crisette and I are looking forward to greeting and fellowshipping with you over the next few days. May God keep you in His most perfect will! Bishop Charles H. Ellis III Presider Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc P.O. Box 21909 Detroit, Michigan 48221 313-543-6063 313-543-6067 (Fax)

Welcome and Congratulations! Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity (Psalm 133:1). You have just arrived to experience and enjoy the greatest and best Episcopal Worship venue within the entire Nation of Pentecost, right here in the great state of California, in the beautiful City of Torrance. Greetings to our Honorable Diocesan/Presiding Prelate, esteemed Resident Bishops, Suffragan Bishops, District Elders, Pastors and your Spouses. In addition to the entire constituency of the great Sixteenth Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., our friends, and visiting well wishers, we welcome you in the matchless name of Jesus! We are honored, delighted, and privileged to serve and assist you in any way that will enhance our intent to care for you like Christ cares for us. Therefore, we pray and hope that you will savor and enjoy this power-packed and anointed worship and fellowship program that was created and designed with your spiritual needs in mind. It is my personal desire that each and every attendee capitalizes and benefits from the activities and presentations that are available at our 76th Annual Summer Conference. So, on behalf of Bishop Charles H. Ellis III, our Region 3 family, and yours truly, we join together in welcoming and receiving you as precious and elect in the Spirit of agapebased compassion! We are all purposed to be living witnesses in everything we do. This panel discussion will focus on ways in which the members of the Body of Christ should receive a person who was once considered to be in a backslidden condition. More importantly, recently restored individuals will receive personal tools they can utilize to handle certain situations associated with coming back into the fold. These situations may include the attitudes of some existing church members as well as the pressure from unsaved acquaintances to enjoy the secular lifestyle and the company from which you recently disaffiliated. 14
