The Council/er The Ohio District Council of Pentecostal Churches, Inc. The Ohio District Council of Pentecostal Churches, Inc. Affiliated with The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. Affiliated with The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. From the Desk of the ODC Chairman Praise the Lord!! Let us continue to give exalted praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! Greetings and Praise the Lord to our honorable Diocesan Bishop James W. Gaiters, ODC Officers, Board of Directors, Pastors, Members, and Saints of the great Ohio District Council. With the help of the Lord, let us continue to carry out and move ahead in the vision of harvesting souls for the Kingdom! And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season, we shall reap if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9) The prophet Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 6:1, In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Let the ODC say with profound confession, we also have seen the Lord in all of our council sessions; in the great teaching, preaching, and fellowship, we have all shared in our council session of a new year. Praise God!! As the psalmist wrote (Psalm 133:1), Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. I personally want to thank all the Bishops, Suffragan Bishops, District Elders, Pastors, Elders, Teachers, and Saints who have worked so diligently, faithfully, and lovingly to make the Ohio District Council such a great success in our endeavor to fulfill the work of the Lord. To God be the Glory. We thank God for the new growth of Pastors and churches and their members who are now affiliating themselves with our great council. May God continue to bless each and every one of us and our churches as we work together to build God s Kingdom in the great Ohio District Council. Yours under the Sovereignty of God, Bishop Melvin L. Brown ODC Council Chairman

Bishop James W. Gaiters, Sr., Diocesan April 3, 2018 Greetings in Jesus Name! Behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, for they are white already to harvest. John 4:35b 2018: HARVESTING SOULS FOR THE KINGDOM And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Gal. 6:9) Like so many children, I was taught that, You reap what you sow. If you do wrong things, you will reap bad things. And, like so many other people, I found out that it was true if you sow wrong things, you will reap the same. Now harvesting is not always bad; there are good harvests, too. If we sow good seed, we will reap a good harvest. God uses the principle of sowing and reaping when we preach, teach, and live the Word of God. The Bible says, A sower went forth to sow. When he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside, some seed fell upon stony places, some fell among thorns, but other fell into good ground. There was no harvest when the seed, which is the Word of God, fell by the wayside, in stony places, and among thorns. It was only when the seed fell into good ground that it brought forth a harvest. I don t claim to be a farmer, and I don t know the science of agronomy, but I do know this: if you sow good seed in good soil, it will grow and produce a good harvest. So let us, as the Body of Christ, as the Ohio District Council, arm ourselves with the Word of God. With plan and design, let us spread this precious Word in the hearts of men and women in our field of labor, and God will, by faith, raise up a harvest for the rapture. By His Grace, Bishop James W. Gaiters, Sr. Diocesan Bishop Melvin Brown, Chairman Evangelist Janet Cummings, Secretary District Elder Brian Hamilton, Treasurer District Elder Darrell Cummings, Vice Chairman Minister Darrell Francis, Asst. Secretary Elder Harold Ray, Asst. Treasurer Evangelist Linda Griffin, Recording Secretary Elder Timothy Hawkins, Sergeant-At-Arms ohiodistrictcouncil.org
