Psalm 4:9 Adult Confirmation Classes The Mission Parish will offer Adults 18 and older Confirmation Preparation on Wednesdays, April 18 though May 9 in the St. Francis Chapel from 7-8pm. If you have been baptized in the Catholic Church and have received your First Holy Communion, but for whatever reason never made your Confirmation, you may be interested in this formation process involving formal instruction and faith sharing. Mission-Aires Meeting and Luncheon Tuesday, April 17 11:30am in the California Room $5 Members $11 Non-Members Our April 17 meeting will be a celebration of Spring and a Tax Break of $5 for paid members. BELIEVING IN JESUS CHRIST Throughout the Easter season, all three of the Sunday readings are taken from the New Testament the Christian scriptures. Together they explore what it means to believe in Jesus as the Christ, the One who fulfilled the prophecies of the Jewish scriptures. Today s selections refer to our human weakness, yet they emphasize the forgiveness and peace that are available to those who put their faith in Jesus Christ the righteous one (1 John 2:2). In the Acts of the Apostles Peter invites everyone to repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away (Acts 3:19). The First Letter of John calls Jesus Christ expiation for our sins (1 John 2:2).
