Micah Kozoil 6:30-8:00 - A NEW BIBLE STUDY TO COMMENCE Fr. Micah E. Kozoil, a newly retired priest of the Diocese of Greensburg, now living in Ligonier would like to begin a Bible Study on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM in the Church (Starting Wednesday, July 25, 2018) in the Atrium. This Bible Study will be very different than other Bible Studies you may have participated in the past. It will focus on the application of biblical parables from both the new and old testaments as they appear in the lectionary as well as random choices. We will learn how the Fathers of the Church used a variety of tools in seeking to understand how the Hebrew scribes approached the scriptures as well as how the early Church Fathers approached both understanding and opening the Word of God for all peoples. We will also include catechesis of our Catholic Faith as well. You should feel free to attend the classes as they appeal to you and/or how your schedule allows. You may find that there are elements in scripture that you may not have encountered before. Many times Catholics feel that they are unable to interpret the passages of scripture or have been taught from youth not to seek to interpret scriptures on their own. Many of the faithful have questions they are afraid to ask.
