Registered Charity No. 1152846 Parochial Church Council of Holy Trinity with Christ Church Website: www.christchurchworthing.org.uk Opening Hymn [368] All my hope on God is founded he doth still my trust renew; Me through change and chance he guideth only good and only true. God unknown, he alone calls my heart to be his own. Pride of man and earthly glory, sword and crown betray his trust; what with care and toil he buildeth tower and temple, fall to dust, But God's power, hour by hour, is my temple and my tower. God's great goodness aye endureth, deep his wisdom, passing thought; splendour, light and life attend him, beauty springeth out of naught. Evermore from his store new-born worlds rise and adore. Daily doth th Almighty giver bounteous gifts on us bestow, his desire our soul delighteth, pleasure leads us where we go. Love doth stand at his hand; joy doth wait on his command.
Still from man to God eternal sacrifice of praise be done, high above all praises praising for the gift of Christ his Son. Christ doth call one and all: ye who follow shall not fall. Worship Songs Robert Bridges : Public Domain Seek ye first the kingdom of God, And His righteousness, And all these things shall be added unto you. Allelu, alleluia. Man shall not live by bread alone, But by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Allelu, alleluia. Ask and it shall be given unto you, Seek and ye shall find; Knock and the door shall be opened up to you. Allelu, alleluia. CCLI 2765 Karen Lafferty 1972 Maranatha! Music (USA)/CopyCare Ltd Song 2 This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made. We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it. This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. This is the day, this is the day that the Lord hath made.
This is the day, this is the day when He rose again, when He rose again. We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it. This is the day when He rose again, we will rejoice and be glad in it. This is the day, this is the day when He rose again. This is the day, this is the day when the Spirit came, when the Spirit came. We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it. This is the day when the Spirit came, we will rejoice and be glad in it. This is the day, this is the day when the Spirit came. CCLI 2765 Les Garrett 1967, 1980 Scripture in Song/Integrity s Hosanna! Music/Kingsway s Thankyou Music Offertory Hymn [478] In heavenly love abiding, no change my heart shall fear; and safe is such confiding, for nothing changes here. the storm may roar without me, my heart may low be laid, but God is round about me, and can I be dismayed?
Wherever He may guide me, no want shall turn me back; my Shepherd is beside me, and nothing can I lack. his wisdom ever waketh, his sight is never dim; he knows the way he taketh, and I will walk with him. Green pastures are before me, which yet I have not seen; bright skies will soon be o er me, where darkest clouds have been. my hope I cannot measure, my path to life is free; my Saviour has my treasure, and He will walk with me. Anna Laetitia Waring: Public Domain Final Hymn [444] God is working his purpose out, as year succeeds to year: God is working his purpose out, and the time is drawing near: nearer and nearer draws the time, the time that shall surely be, when the earth shall be filled with the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea.
From utmost east to utmost west, wherever feet have trod, by the mouth of many messengers goes forth the voice of God: Give ear to me, ye continents, ye isles, give ear to me, that the earth may be filled with the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea. What can we do to work God s work, to prosper and increase the love of God in all mankind, the reign of the Price of peace? What can we do to hasten the time, the time that shall surely be when the earth shall be filled with the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea? March we forth in the strength of God, with the banner of Christ unfurled, that the light of the glorious gospel of truth may shine throughout the world; fight we the fight with sorrow and sin to set their captives free, that the earth may be filled with the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea.
All we can do is nothing worth unless God blesses the deed; vainly we hope for the harvest-tide till God gives life to the seed: yet nearer and nearer draws the time, the time that shall surely be, when the earth shall be filled with the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea.
