Missions: v Pray for Michael A as Scot H. and Jeff V. join him in Nigeria this week to help prepare for the first BAIS graduation. Jeff V. is staying one week. Scot H. will stay for two weeks to participate in an invitational Literary Week. Mary will travel February 10-25 to begin working with the teachers for Vacation Bible Camp. The TGSSA banquet is May 5. v Tim and Carolyn D. ask for prayer for follow-up in Fairmont for recent outreach events. Also pray for the on-line group Tim is leading for leaders, which is focused on spiritual development. v Jason and Kristyna S. are thankful for all luggage arriving for the most recent short-term team. Pray for the recording building to be completed. v Steve and Jane W. would love to host an English Character Camp team from Grace. Let the mission team know of your interest. Sometimes a few people can join another team. v Pray for preparations for the FreedomWorks Annual Banquet on Thursday, April 26. Pray for God s leading and wisdom as they search for a new location to expand their ministry. v Steve and Kathy A. ask for prayer for up-coming short-term trips. In February, they are leading a small group to south Asia. In April, Steve is planning a trip for Hurricane Harvey Crisis Response. v Pray for renovation of the house close to Linda L. Volunteers are welcome. v Pray for ongoing renovations with Living Hope Ministries in NE Minneapolis. Renewed Dwellings is coordinating monthly work sessions. Contact Larry at 763-533-8057 to volunteer for February 24 or March 24. v Faith Promise Update: 41 people have promised $73,013. We would like our Faith Promise giving for 2018 to reach $100,000. We plan to utilize $7,500 of excess funds to help reach the budget goal of $107,500. v Adopt a Missionary for a year Find time to develop a deeper friendship with one of our missionary families. They will be encouraged by your love. You will benefit by being mutual prayer partners with them. Mission Focus: Gary and Marilyn R. ask us to pray for the Family Group ministry to international students. Pray for the truth taught in the Bible studies to bear fruit in the hearts of those who attend. Pray, to, for God s wisdom as they interact with students in one-on-one meetings. Marilyn asks for good learning for the 13 participants who are taking the online course Building Bridges with English. Also pray for encouragement for Marilyn s dad who continues in hospice care.

The Struggles of Life Support Group next meeting Tuesday, February 6th Mary Perras facilitates a support group for those facing struggles of life (including depression) while expecting the promises/provisions we have through Christ. This group meets every other Tuesday in the Library 7:00-8:30 pm. The purpose of the group is to live out Galatians 6:2: Bear one another s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
