The north side of our roof is bright and shiny and new! As you can see from the picture on the cover of this newsletter it looks great! Thanks to Steve for all the work he put into this!

Women s Prayer Fellowship We had our Christmas in October on 10-21. There were 12 vendors. We had Cottage Inn Pizza for lunch along with homemade cookies and brownies and pop. Women s Prayer Fellowship ended up making $454 after expenses. We have agreed that we will do this again next year. We learned a few things and will make a few adjustments to make next years event even better!

Thankful I am thankful, especially this week as I plan to celebrate Thanksgiving. I am thankful for my family at home, and for my family at church. I am grateful for the love of my families. I am grateful for my life, for God s grace, for all God has blessed me with. I am grateful for the person I continue to be because of God s grace and forgiveness. I can pray for grace, I can pray to be a better person. But I hear God saying I m not going to take anything from you. I m waiting for you to give it to me. This for me is the experience of thankfulness. The act of doing. Not waiting for magic to happen. For me it is a surrender of all of my life the good, the bad, and the ugly. I hear God say, Here I am. And I am so grateful, so blessed, so thankful, so graced. Thomas Merton, the great theologian, said it so well: To be grateful is to recognize the Love of God in everything He has given us and He has given us everything. Every breath we draw is a gift of His love, every moment of existence is a grace, for it brings with it immense graces from Him. Gratitude therefore takes nothing for granted, is never unresponsive, is constantly awakening to new wonder and to praise of the goodness of God. For the grateful person knows that God is good, not by hearsay but by experience. And that is what makes all the difference. In God s Service and Love, Sheree Clark Ministry Associate November 2017 Missions The World Missions offering ends November 26. We will begin the last special offering of the year next week Retired Ministers and Missionaries. Finance Financial update for 2017: Our operations total thru October 2017 is $59,391.16. Our expenses through the end of October are $63,075.14. As you can see we are behind $3680. Please consider this as you plan end of the year giving. Thank you!
