A message from our Pastor The new ingredients of Jesus make the difference! "At that time Jesus said to his disciples: You are the salt of the earth... Mathew 5,13 Throughout the year many awareness campaigns are made: solidarity campaigns, anti-drug campaigns, antiabortion, etc. There is a campaign entitled "Make a Difference Day", "A Day to Make a Difference". Put your time and talents to serve your community. A day to make a difference. On Sunday, we are brought together by the power of the Holy Spirit. The same Spirit makes the campaign of Jesus death and resurrection for us. The campaign of Jesus is not a day, not a phrase, nor a poster. The campaign of Jesus is a lifetime. It is the Gospel proclaimed and believed. It is the power of the Spirit, who alone has the power to convince and mobilize in favor of others and make a difference.. The Lord tells us today that his disciples have to be persistent, effective and need to make a difference. We have to be present, in order to impact our environment. "You are the salt of the earth". The salt was used to preserve food, salt was the source of life. It gives flavor to food, diluted, not seen. It is simply for others. This is our mission: the mission of being salt is to preserve our environment, our family, our community, so that it will not rot, so that it will flourish, so that peace and justice be for all, and that the salvation of Christ reaches us all, so that evil will not prevail. Be salt of the earth, in words of Jesus is to improve life from good, from the service of generosity. We do not exist for us alone, we exist for others. Christ did not come to receive a medal for His services, He came to give Himself, to give to all. What do we preserve? Who do we give flavor to? Have a nice weekend! Fr.

A quién damos sabor? Que tengan un buen fin de semana! Fr. Andrés Arango Párroco
