In our family, three generations were there to watch and observe the event. The lady next too us had four generations there, as she watched her great-granddaughter graduate.

7:30-8:30 Praise Team In my devotion today, I read the section in Luke 3, that has the list of genealogy of Jesus: Sunday Schedule: 9:00 am Worship Team Practice 9:30 am Sunday School 10:30 am Worship Greeters Nancy Petry & Linda McNeal Media Lisa Cleveland Sound Logan Lockridge Ushers Steve Riley Charlie Smith Tony Simpson Nursery- Sunday School Pat Fahrney Nursery- Worship Nicole Corbin Children's Church Rose/Noah Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years of age, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli, the son of..... (Luke 3: 23, ESV). The passage continues on many generations later in verse 38: Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. It is a long detailed passage to read. Some people might look at this list and see random chance at work. It is just the way genetics works. Kids beget kids, and on and on. I think God planned the whole line exactly as He desired. Each person in his place. Each person having free will to live as they please, while at the same time God s sovereignty has everything scheduled right up to Jesus birth at the exact time and place that God desired. There is more than 2000 years in this plan. God really plans ahead, doesn t He! What if one of these people had acted differently, or died too young before having children? The line would have been broken. Things would have been different. I cannot begin to imagine the details and foresight that the Lord has in His

plans. I like to plan ahead, but I am not thinking 2000 years ahead! If God can make such a complicated long term plan work perfectly, He will not have any trouble with the plan for your life. He really knows what He is doing, and you can trust Him. Your friend and pastor, Bill Wednesday 7:00pm Bible Study Coping with Dementia
