From the desk of Our Pastor STA Sunday Funday Pick-up Raffle Tickets Today Dear Parishioners, Our Sunday Funday event will be held on September 25 from 9 AM to 6 PM. We will have a variety of food and games for the children. We will not have any mechanical rides. This will enable us to use the majority of the parking lot for both the weekend Masses and also the Sunday Funday attendees. Entertainment will be from our parishioners, musicians and school. This event will focus on the support from all of you, our parish community to make it a success. It is going to be a parishioner driven event. Our annual raffle will remain in place. Please stop by our table outside of church to pick up your raffle tickets. Please make every effort to sell each ticket. New this year: a $50 prize will be presented to the seller of the grand prize winning ticket, the more tickets you sell, the greater chances you have of claiming that prize. I am excited about trying something new. We will focus on donations from our parishioners. I trust and count on your participation in order to make this a Sunday Fun Day event a huge success. Religious Education and Confirmation Program Programa de Educación Religiosa y Confirmación We are committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in the Catholic tradition through education and formation, celebrating liturgy and prayer, experiencing community and reaching out in service. The purpose of Religious Education Program at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to our students and their families. Catechists and staff strive to support the faith life of families, knowing that it is in the domestic church of the home that faith blossoms and is nourished. Because faith is more caught than taught, family involvement is essential to the success of St. Thomas Aquinas Religious Education and Confirmation Program. The Office of Religious Education provides: Sacramental preparation for children (penance, Communion and Confirmation) Adult Faith Formation, RCIA. Enrollment is now open until September 4. On Sundays staff will be at the entrances of the church after each mass. Religious Education office hours are: Weds.-Fri. 5 PM 7 PM and weekends 9 AM-1 PM. Anyone wishing more information on the Religious Education and Confirmation program please stop at our table to find out what we offer and how you and your children can join to the program.
