From Our Pastor My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, As I get ready to travel to Washington D.C. for my second summer of Canon Law studies, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your loving care for me as your pastor. I am so often focused on the business of our parish that I forget the blessings right in front of me. Thank you for providing and caring for our beautiful church which truly is an architectural marvel and a most beautiful place to pray. Thank you for providing for the salaries of all of the dedicated people who assist me in my ministry here I couldn t do it without them or all of you. Thank you for providing me with a safe and cozy house which I can call my home. Thank you for providing me with a salary for my work and food for my strength. Thank you for the kind letters, words of support after Mass, and hugs from people of all ages that allow me to recognize that I am loved and appreciated. Thank you also for the challenging words of need and correction which often are so difficult to say and to hear, but which are nevertheless necessary. Thank you for your patience with me being divided over two parishes with studies in addition. You deserve more of my presence but are so often satisfied with less thank you. Finally, thank you for allowing me to be your priest and for helping me to grow closer to Jesus by your word and example. We truly do help each other along the Way. I will miss you this summer, but know that I will be studying, preparing, and resting a bit too! Know of my prayers for you and I ll see you in a few months. May God Bless You. ST. THOMAS MORE SCHOOL 650 S. Girotti St. Thomas More Annual Appeal May, 2013 Dear Friend of St. Thomas More School: St. Thomas More School, along with nine other Catholic schools in the Green Bay area, is part of the Catholic education system known as GRACE (Green Bay Area Catholic Education). Although the support of these ten schools mainly comes from GRACE and the 23 parishes supporting the system, as well as tuition from our families, each school is still responsible for doing their own third source funding. St. Thomas More includes our Annual Appeal as part of our third source funding. Donations given to this appeal will go directly to St. Thomas More School. St. Thomas More School continues to provide a quality education for our Early Childhood through eighth grade students based on a curriculum that stresses the development of the whole child in a creative and safe environment. The Christian morals, values and lessons taught in our school will serve our students, church and community well for years to come as these young people become our future leaders. However, the struggle to meet expenses and remain viable is a constant one. St. Thomas More serves a diverse urban population and many lower income families. Any donations, large or small, are greatly needed and appreciated. Donations to the STM Annual Appeal provide an ideal way to fulfill the Gospel mandate to pass on the legacy of the Catholic faith to all generations. Your financial gift will enable you to respond to this divine challenge, and help us to meet our fundraising goal. Please consider a tax-deductible donation, large or small, that will help enable this excellent school to thrive for many years to come. As an alumnus of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, St. Mary of the Angels or SS. Peter and Paul School, or St. Thomas More School, a parent or grandparent of these students, or someone who believes in or has benefitted from a quality Catholic education, your donation and support of the St. Thomas More Annual Appeal will be especially appreciated. The community of St. Thomas More School thanks God for your generous giving and asks Him to bless your days abundantly. We ask that you continue to keep our school and families in your prayers. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - St. Thomas More Catholic School Annual Appeal May, 2013 I am pleased to support the St. Thomas More Annual Appeal with a gift of Name: Address: City/State/Zip: Please make check payable to STM Catholic School Annual Appeal.
