Upcoming Prayer Group All women of the parish are invited to participate in an upcoming 12 week prayer series entitled, Lord Teach Me To Pray: Praying the Christian Virtues. The group will have its first meeting THIS Tuesday, January 10th at 6:00pm in the parish hall. Each week, participants will be introduced to Ignatian prayer and a Christian virtue. The 12 Christian virtues studied over the course of the 12 weeks are; faith, hope, love, humility, poverty, chastity, obedience, patience, courage, perseverance, wisdom, and friendship. Women will be blessed by listening to God and one another through personal prayer and group faith sharing. Religious Education/Youth Ministry CCD NEWS Welcome back, Students! Hope everyone had a nice break and is having a blessed Christmas season. CCD classes resume Sunday, January 8th at 9:30am. Looking forward to all our students will learn and experience with our Lord in 2017! Thank You! Thank you to all those who purchased gifts for our Jesse Tree Christmas Gift program. These gifts have been delivered to children in our parish and community, local nursing home residents, and residents of the Mel Blount Youth Home. The day will start with in Mercy Chapel at 10:00 AM. Deacon Eddie Ensley, Ph.D. and Deacon Robert Herrmann are both nationally known authors, pastoral counselors and retreat leaders who have over thirty years of experience leading parish missions, retreats, renewals and conferences. Passionately overwhelming audiences with their talks, they teach the same way Jesus taught the crowds, by telling stories and parables. Lunch will be provided with a minimal charge to cover food costs and stipend.
