In the Second Reading today, Paul gives us a blueprint of what humility looks like, based on Jesus vocation of the Cross. In the same way, our service and love cannot be for our own advancement but should be rooted in the sacrificial love that Jesus revealed. In the emptying of our self, we allow God to fill our hearts and shine through. This way, people won t merely see our works and prayer, but they will see God exalted through us.
