Nursery School News Our Nursery School, which is run in cooperation with the Jewish Community Center of Bayonne, is beginning its third year of operation. Thanks to a very generous grant from the Violet Zall-Hordes Foundation, we were able to renovate another room in the Temple which will be used by the Nursery School this year. As a result of the renovation, our Nursery School will be able to extend its program and serve more children. We welcome our new Nursery School teacher, Gloria Leibowitz, and wish her much success. Gloria has been working hard to prepare for the opening of school, and we are certain that she and her students can look forward to a very exciting year. "Mishpacha"-Family Education Program Our new "Mishpacha"-Family Education Program for young children and their parents will hold its first session on Saturday, September 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon in the main Temple building. The "Mishpacha" Program will meet once a month and will introduce the children to the beauty of Shabbat and the Jewish holidays through the use of arts, crafts and music. The theme for the first meeting will be the Festivals of Sukkot and Simchat Torah. Children, age 3 and above, and their parents are invited to participate. The facilitator of the "Mishpacha" Program will be Susan Stepper. Ms. Stepper is a veteran teacher, who has taught and directed art and music programs in both publ'ic and religious schools. Currently, Ms. Stepper works at Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel in South Orange, where she begins her sixth year as the head of the religious school music program. We are pleased that thanks to grant from the Violet Zall-Hordes Foundation, we are able to provide this program free of charge. For more information, call.the rabbi.
