Sacrament of Baptism Infant Baptisms take place on the 4th Sunday of each month at 1:30 PM. Prior arrangements are necessary. There is a pre-baptismal program for parents and godparents to assist them in the preparation for the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Adults who have not been Baptized or have been Baptized in another Christian Community and wish to enter into full communion and adults who have not received the Sacraments of Communion and Confirmation, please contact the Rectory for further information. Sacrament of Marriage Couples who are contemplating sharing the Sacrament of Marriage should contact one of the priests one year in advance to insure adequate preparation for this lifelong commitment. Religious Education The education of our youth and the sharing of our heritage is a priority in our parish. We have two Schools to aid our parents in their mission as primary educators of the faith. At vintage time the master will return to receive the harvest. May we bear fruit in plenty, and be pleasing in his sight by living lives that are marked by love and respect. THANKSGIVING FOOD COLLECTION Through the New Energies Project established by the Archdiocese of Newark with the cooperation of parishes in our local Deanery, the parishes of St. Anne s, St. Nicholas and St. Paul of the Cross have a combined Food Pantry located at St. Nicholas Rectory. Since the Food Pantry is currently EMPTY, St. Anne s Parish will begin its Thanksgiving Food Collection early. We appreciate your generous contributions. Food donations can be placed in the food receptacle located in the church vestibule. All food items need to be NON-PERISHABLE. The food collected will be distributed to our needy parishioners for Thanksgiving Baskets. These baskets will be distributed from St. Nicholas rectory, as it was done last year. Every Tuesday, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the church from 3 to 4 p.m. It is an hour of prayer for the priests, religious men and women and an increase of vocations to the priesthood and the religious life of the Church. We invite you to come and spend time with the Lord for these intentions and for your personal requests. Holy Hour closes with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Bible Study Father Titus Njoku offers a Bible Class to all parishioners and friends every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Rectory Basement. All are welcome; no fee.
