The journey to Har Sinai meets the road to recovery. As many of you know, Roz Naor, son of Itzak and Meira, has been battling cancer. The Ohr Hatorah family has an extraordinary opportunity to help Roz. Everyone is invited to learn Pirkei Avos (Chapters of the Fathers) from now until Shavuos, and dedicate their learning to the merit of Roz for a speedy and full recovery. Let's join together and pour our hearts into this. Who knows how great the power of our collective Torah learning can be! We pray as we approach Shavuos, our mitzvah helps bring Roz increased strength and healing, culminating with a joyous refuah shelaimah. Please keep Roz in mind when praying, Roz Rachamim ben Avraham Avinu.

Dear Friends, It is with great excitement that I announce that Rabbi Ezra Sarna has accepted the position of Assistant Rabbi / Program Director of Ohr HaTorah. Currently, Rabbi Sarna is a Member of the Atlanta Scholars Kollel. He has also received practical rabbinic training with Rabbi Ilan Feldman and Rabbi Yechezkel Freundlich of Congregation Beth Jacob of Atlanta. We have worked hard over these last few months redesigning this position for our shul. Rabbi Sarna is coming to us with impressive Torah scholarship, organizational know-how, and people skills. It is our hope and expectation that he will help solidify our in-reach efforts with our existing membership, as well as to help create, and expand, more robust outreach efforts with Jews in the DFW area who are new to learning about their Jewish heritage. Rabbi Sarna, his wife Chedva, and their three children will be moving here in early August, and the plan is for Rabbi Sarna to begin his new role with Ohr HaTorah on August 16 th. The Sarnas are very excited about joining us, looking forward to getting to know our membership, and planning to work very hard to help us grow and succeed. The Sarnas have a sterling reputation and we are very excited about their taking on this important role in our community! Sincerely, Rabbi Aryeh Feigenbaum (972)404-8980 rabbi@ohtd.org ohrhatorahdallas.org
