Each year, men and women embark on an exploration of the Catholic faith. Some are deciding of they are called into the Catholic Church, others are looking to be Confirmed and some have been Catholic all their lives and are interested in discovering what it really means. To learn more, please visit the website or call the Parish office. Wednesdays 6 PM 8 PM Join us for RCIA Prayer for the Sick Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen Prayer for First Responders Blessed are you, Lord, God of mercy, who through your Son gave us a marvelous example of charity and the great commandment of love for one another. Send down your blessings on first responders who so generously devote themselves to helping others. Grant them courage when they are afraid, wisdom when they must make quick decisions, strength when they are weary, and compassion in all their work. When the alarm sounds and they are called to aid both friend and stranger, let them faithfully serve you in their neighbor. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. Be still and know that I am God. We will begin at 9:00 in the morning with the blessing of their vehicles, followed by a procession into the church. At the end, a few of the leaders of our public servants will proffer a few words to the community. Please join us for the Mass, and stay for the breakfast we are offering the community in the hall with the help of Knights of Columbus. Come, pray, enjoy, celebrate. In this Centennial of the Apparitions we are solemnly consecrating our parish to the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima. It will take place on Friday, October 13. We will begin at 9:00 AM with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which will last until 7:00 PM. From 6:00 to 7:00 that evening we will have an Apostolic Hour of prayers, songs, scripture readings and intercessions in both languages. The day will end with a bilingual Mass at 7:00 which will include special prayers of consecration recited by all present. Please, don t miss this important event close to Our Blessed Mother s heart. From Sunday, December 3, to Thursday, December 7, Father Wade Menezes will be preaching a Parish Mission titled: Our Lady of Fatima and Her Son s Message of Salvation. In these 5 days, Father Menezes will focus on the Last Things, that is, living wisely in this world that we may appear in God s presence at the end of our lives. He will draw from the Scriptures, the Tradition of the Church and the message of Our Lady of Fatima good lessons for our consideration. Please mark your calendars. Please plan to attend. 2 nd & 4 th Tuesday of each month beginning October 10 th 6:30 PM 7:30 PM Snack Bar A Fun, Flexible, Faith-filled Catholic Club for girls! Little Flowers Girls Club is a Catholic club for girls ages 5 and up that teaches virtues through scripture, saints biographies and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Based on the 1906 Catholic classic The Catholic Girls Guide by Fr. F.X. Lasance, and the spirituality of St. Thérése, the Little Flower of Liseux, this beautiful, authentically Catholic program, has delighted and instilled in our girls a love of our Catholic Faith for over 25 years. Little Flowers Girls Club program consists of four years of study: Wreaths I, II, III and IV. Each of the first three Wreaths of study consist of nine virtues each. Like a scouting program, girls earn badges for the virtues they have practiced, life skills they have learned. But unlike most scouting organizations, the girls learn and earn their badges through a distinctly Catholic lens. This Catholic to the Core program relies on the stories of the saints, Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Presented by Fr. Wade L. J.
