Matt. 7:13 Enter you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 4728. steno/ß stenos, sten-os ; probably from the base of 2476; narrow (from obstacles standing close about): strait. Matt. 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it. Prov. 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light also Is. 8:20] ; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: [Mashiyach is called light see o Prov. 10:17 He is in the way of life that keeps instruction: but he that refuses reproof errs. [Mashiyach says, [ I am the way the truth and the life ] ]. How do you know you are on the narrow gate? Most Hebrews, Christians, or believers believe they are on this path. Now remember when we go down 7 verses we hear what a believer would say: Matt. 7:21 Not every one that says unto me, sovereign, sovereign, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matt. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, sovereign, sovereign, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? o Notice in these 2 verses they claim to be a believer. Doing all these things does not qualify you as being on the narrow or strait gate, Or believer. Matt. 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity [lawlessness/transgression of the Law, Greek definition.] John 10:7 Then said Yahusha unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door [gate θύρα Thu rah] of the sheep. John 10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. John 10:9 I am the door [gate]: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. So we need to understand what we need to do to get into the gate(s):

Rev. 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Psa. 118:19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise Yahuah: Psa. 118:20 This gate of Yahuah, into which the righteous shall enter. o Is. 51:7 Hearken unto me, you that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear you not the reproach of men, neither be you afraid of their reviling s. Psa. 118:21 I will praise you: for you have heard me, and are become my salvation. Psa. 118:22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. o 1Pet. 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be confounded. [Psalms is called scripture]. o 1Pet. 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, o 1Pet. 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. Jer. 7:2 Stand in the gate of Yahuah s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of Yahuah, all Yahudah, that enter in at these gates to worship Yahuah. Jer. 7:3 Thus says Yahuah of hosts, the Alahiym of Yashra al (Yisrael/Israel), Amend place. [ beautify /יטב] your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this So What is the Word of Yahuah or Alahiym? John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his esteem, the esteem as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of favor (grace) and truth. John 1:17 For the law was given by Mushah (Mashah/Moses), but favor (grace) and truth came by Yahusha Mashiyach. {Favor and truth need to be defined. And are they against the law}. Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of Alahiym.

Luke 8:12 Those by the way side [road/journey] are they that hear; then comes the devil, and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. The Seed is the Word. The seed was planted into Mariyam. And the Word became flesh. Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. Luke 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Luke 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted [implanted] word, which is able to save your souls. James 1:22 But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Luke 8:19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press. Luke 8:20 And it was told him by certain which said, Your mother and your brethren stand without, desiring to see you. Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of Alahiym, and do it. Luke 11:27 And it came to pass, as he spoke these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare you, and the paps which you have sucked. Luke 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of Alahiym, and keep it. Mark 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well you reject the commandment of Alahiym, that you may keep your own tradition. Mark 7:10 For Mushah (Mashah/Moses) said, Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoso curses father or mother, let him die the death: Mark 7:11 But you say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me; he shall be free. Mark 7:12 And you suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

Mark 7:13 Making the word of Alahiym of none effect through your tradition, which you have delivered: and many such like things do you. Deut. 4:2 You shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahuah your Alahiym which I command you. Heb. 4:12 For the word of Alahiym is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 1Pet. 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of Alahiym, which lives and abides for ever. 1Pet. 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the esteem of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away: 1Pet. 1:25 But the word of Yahuah endures for ever. And this is the word which by the good news is preached unto you. 3306. me nw meno, men -o; a primary verb; to stay (in a given place, state, relation or expectancy): abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry (for). o Word of Yahuah and the Word of Alahiym are interchangeable, and it endures forever. Rom. 10:3 For they being ignorant of Alahiym s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of Alahiym. Rom. 10:4 For Mashiyach is the telos [focus/end result/goal] of the law for righteousness to every one that believes. Rom. 10:5 For Mushah (Mashah/Moses) describes the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which does those things shall live by them. Rom. 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaks on this wise, Say not in your heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Mashiyach down from above:) Rom. 10:7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Mashiyach again from the dead.) Rom. 10:8 But what says it? The word is nigh you, in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Rom. 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Alahiym. o Mashiyach said not just hearing but doing.

Deut. 30:10 If you shall hearken unto the voice of Yahuah your Alahiym, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if you turn unto Yahuah your Alahiym with all your heart, and with all your soul. Deut. 30:11 For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not hidden from you, neither is it far off. Deut. 30:12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Deut. 30:13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Deut. 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it. 1John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of Alahiym, when we love Alahiym, and keep his commandments. 1John 5:3 For this is the love of Alahiym, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. What about Yahuchanan (John) 1:17 John 1:17 For the law was given by Mushah (Mashah/Moses), but favor (grace) and truth came by Yahusha Mashiyach. Three things should stand out: 1. But is added in this verse 2. Grace 3. Truth Yahusha brung Favor/Grace and Truth. Let us look at what He calls Truth: John 17:17 Purify them through your truth: your word is truth. o Psa. 119:142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your law is the truth. Mal. 2:5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. Mal. 2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.

Rom. 2:20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which have the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. 1Pet. 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of Alahiym, which lives and abides for ever. [ lo/goß logos,] 1Pet. 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the esteem of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away: 1Pet. 1:25 But the word [rjhvma rhema, an utterance, saying, word.] of Yahuah endures for ever. And this is the word which by the good news is preached unto you. [quoted from Yashayahu 40:6-8] Is. 40:6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: Is. 40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades: because the spirit of Yahuah blows upon it: surely the people is grass. Is. 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of our Alahiym shall stand for ever. Let us look at the Word Favor, commonly called Grace: Ex. 34:9 And he said, If now I have found favor (grace) in your sight, O adan, let adaniy, I pray you, go among us; for it is a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance. Ex. 34:10 And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which you are shall see the work of Yahuah: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with you. Ex. 34:11 Observe you that which I command you this day: behold, I drive out before you the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite. Prov. 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let your heart keep my commandments: Prov. 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to you. Prov. 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you: bind them about your neck; write them upon the table of your heart: [We know what truth is how about Mercy? [See Matt. 23:23] Matt. 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought you to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Prov. 3:4 So shall you find favor (grace) and good understanding in the sight of Alahiym and man.

Prov. 3:5 Trust in Yahuah with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. Prov. 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. With these clues in mind, let s go back to Yahuchanan (John) 1:17 John 1:17 For the law was given by Mushah (Mashah/Moses), but grace and truth came by Yahusha Mashiyach. The Law was given by Mushah (Mashah/Moses). But based off of what we have read, on both sides of the book it shows favor or grace does not cancel or removes the law. What we also see is truth is the Law. Law is righteousness. The Word of Yahuah our Alahiym in the Laws and the Commandments. It can save, i.e. protect you and give you long life. Mushah (Mashah/Moses) could not give favor. Where as through Yahusha we are able to receive the truth which is the Word of Yahuah, which is the Law of Yahuah. But when we violate the law by mistake, we are forgiven through favor grace. Remember how Mashiyach stated Mushah (Mashah/Moses) wrote of Him? John 5:46 For had you believed Mushah (Mashah/Moses), you would have believed me: for he wrote of me. Where did this happen? Deut. 18:15 Yahuah your Alahiym will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him you shall hearken; Deut. 18:16 According to all that you desired of Yahuah your Alahiym in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of Yahuah my Alahiym, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. Deut. 18:17 And Yahuah said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. Deut. 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto you, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. [Quoted in Acts] Acts 3:19 Repent you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of Yahuah; Acts 3:20 And he shall send Yahusha Mashiyach, which before was preached unto you: Acts 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which Alahiym has spoken by the mouth of all his set-apart prophets since the world began.

Acts 3:22 For Mushah (Mashah/Moses) truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall Yahuah your Alahiym raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall you hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. Acts 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. Notice He will be likened unto Mushah (Mashah/Moses). What is Mushah (Mashah/Moses) known for? The Law. It was commanded to hear Him. That means whatever He says You shall obey. What did He teach? Matt. 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. o Rom. 15:19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of Alahiym; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the good news of Mashiyach. o Matt. 3:15 And Yahusha answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becomes us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him. Matt. 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matt. 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. o Notice in this verse it says, if you do not teach it you will be least in the Kingdom. But if you teach the commandments you will be great. o Does this mean I should not have to worry about if I do or do not, since I will be in the Kingdom anyway? Let s look at the next verse Matt. 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case [Not] enter into the kingdom of heaven. We must understand what Mashiyach is referring to. Basically If you Keep it, you will be great. But we need to see what he means by, if you do not teach it, you will be least.

Num. 15:27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering. Num. 15:28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sins ignorantly, when he sins by ignorance before Yahuah, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. Num. 15:29 You shall have one law for him that sins through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourns among them. If done in ignorance they would not be destroyed. But they must be atoned for. So this would be the least. In the Kingdom. So let us hold fast to what Mashiyach said in Yahuchanan (John) 12:48 & Luke 13:24-28: John 12:48 He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. John 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. Conclusion Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Luke 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and has shut to the door, and you begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, sovereign, sovereign, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence you are: Luke 13:26 Then shall you begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in your presence, and you have taught in our streets. Luke 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence you are; depart from me, all workers of iniquity [lawlessness/transgressors of the law]. Luke 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you shall see Abraham, and Yatsqak (Isaac), and Ya aqub (Ya aqab/jacob), and all the prophets, in the kingdom of Alahiym, and you yourselves thrust out. [Note: the 3 forefathers kept the laws and Commandments of Yahuah].
