Jack Conley, CP Our Mission Speaker will give the homily at all of the Masses the weekend of March 3-4. Mass will also be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday through Wednesday, with Confessions following each Mass. Baptismal classes are held once every month. Baptisms are celebrated once per month on Saturday at 10:00 AM or periodically during the year at the Sunday 10:30 AM Mass. and those interested in becoming parishioners. The pastor should be contacted 9-12 months before the wedding date. The pastor should be contacted immediately after the death of a loved one. Funeral plans should be discussed with the pastor prior to making final arrangements at the funeral home.

LENTEN MISSION SPEAKER Fr. Jack Conley, CP is a member of the Passionate Community stationed at St. Vincent Strambi Retreat Center in Chicago, IL. He has given missions throughout the United States for the past 48 years. Fr. Conley will be speaking at all the Masses on the Third Sunday of Lent (March 3-4), three weeks from now. The Mission will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (March 5-7), 6:30 PM. We will also celebrate Mass at 10:00 AM, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, as well as be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation after the 10:00 AM Mass. This is a support group designed to help and encourage those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. This group will finish this session on May 16. ANNULMENT PROCESS WORKSHOP April 17, the Judicial Vicar for the Diocese of Lafayette, Msgr. Robie Robichaux, will be presenting workshops on Declaration of Nullity and what is needed to begin the process. The 2 hour workshops will be held at 10:00 AM or 6:00 PM, at the Diocesan Offices. The Jubilee of the Word Marathon 100 Hours for 100 Years is an extraordinary and unique way to celebrate the Centennial of the Diocese of Lafayette! Beginning on Wednesday, April 4, 12:30 PM, the Bible will be read publicly cover to cover, without pause, in the Square of St. Martinville. The Marathon will conclude on Divine Mercy Sunday at 4:30 PM. Bishop Douglas Deshotel will begin the reading from the first chapters of Genesis and Bishop Michael Jarrell will conclude with the closing chapters of the Book of Revelation. Over 300 lectors will be needed for 20 minute intervals. Lectors from churches from throughout Acadiana and others interested in reading are encouraged to sign up for a reading slot during the Marathon.
