She was a homemaker and a member of Raus Church of Christ. Her family includes four sons, Dr. Will and Dr. Steven Alcorn and Joe Allen Alcorn Jr., all of Shelbyville, and Lanny B. Alcorn of Gainesville, FL; two daughters, Karen Sims Thomas of Athens, AL, and Sandra Alcorn Curlee of Shelbyville; a sister, Libby Wallace of Nashville; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
