Haynie Jr.; a great-niece, Mikaylee Lafever; six aunts and two uncles, Hallie G. Mr. Beasley died on Mon., Sept. 6, 1999, at the Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro, following an extended illness. He was born on May 19, 1933, in Silver Point to the late Clarence Veco and Edna T. Bohannon Beasley. Mr. Beasley was retired from the Army Corps of Engineers. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Beasley was a member of the West End Church of Christ in Silver Point. His family includes his wife of 43 years, Lillian Mai Stewart Beasley; a son, Charles William Beasley Jr. of Silver Point; two daughters and a son-in-law, Marsha Beasley of Silver Point, and Wanda and Jimmy Haynie of Riddleton; a brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Thelma Beasley of Smyrna; a sister and brother-in-law, Hallie G. Beasley and Isom Tibbs of Memphis; a devoted uncle, Robert G. Bohannon of Nashville; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was born Dec. 8, 1957, in Putnam County to Mrs. Virginia Johnson of Silver Point. Ms. Johnson attended Trinity Baptist Church in Cookeville and served a number of years as a correction officer with the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.
