The Bell The Prelude Lighting of the Candles DJ Schneider Hunter Hall Bell Choir Opening Welcome and Announcements *Call to Worship In the name of a gracious God, a risen Savior, and an empowering Spirit. Amen. The Lord is risen! He is risen indeed! Like the disciples who met the risen Christ, We come hoping for unexpected appearances of God s love. When we have questions and doubts, Our Lord comes saying, Peace be with you. Touch me and see who I am says Jesus: He shares his transforming power and love with us. He calls us to be witnesses to this redeeming love. With a new spirit, come let us worship. *Hymn No. 201 Alleluia! Alleluia! Hearts to Heaven

*Prayer of the Day O God, by your risen Son you have lifted up this fallen world and brought to us a message of Peace be with you. May we share in these joys that are eternal, and become your faithful witnesses of these things. Amen. *Prayer of Confession We come to God, seeking grace for our lives. Loving God, We confess that at times we do not share in the joy of the resurrection but are caught in the worries of the world. We confess that we do not always live in the spirit of new life but remain discontent, grumbling and anxious. Forgive us for not sharing in the Good News. Forgive us when we find it more comfortable to worry and complain than to risk the joy and encouragement of new life in Christ. Call us back to Your ways, O God, to seek hope and reconciliation, restoration and peace. In the name of the Risen Christ, we pray. Amen. *Words of Assurance Christ is Risen! He comes with the message, Peace be with you. We are called to this new life, a life of forgiveness and reconciliation. You are forgiven; accept your forgiveness and know that God loves you and desires peace for your life. Thanks be to God! Amen *Call to Praise O Lord, open our lips! And our mouths shall show forth your praise! *Act of Praise Gloria Patri (printed on laminated card in hymnal)
