The Bell The Prelude Lighting of the Candles Chase Trimble DJ Schneider Choral Opening Welcome and Announcements *Call to Worship From Psalm 23 In the name of a gracious God, a risen Savior, and an empowering Spirit. Amen. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name s sake. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. *Hymn No. 8 All People That on Earth Do Dwell

*Prayer of the Day O Lord Christ, Good Shepherd of the sheep, you seek the lost and guide us into your fold. Feed us, and we shall be satisfied; heal us, and we shall be whole. Make us one with you. Amen. *Prayer of Confession Let us come before God confessing our failures and trusting that the Good Shepherd leaves none of us unattended. Gentle God, Remind us, that as a part of your family no one is unattended, or considered "less than," or left outside the fold of your realm. Especially on this Good Shepherd Sunday, help us to recognize the strength we gain from one another. Forgive us when we forget. Create in us a renewed gratitude for relationships with all your people. Amen. *Words of Assurance Like the Good Shepherd, your mercy, love, and forgiveness reaches to all of us. Help us to be more caring of others and lead us to stand with and up for one another in times of trials and difficulties. Empower us, Good Shepherd! Amen. *Call to Praise O Lord, open our lips!
