The Lord s Day August 16, 2015 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. - Galatians 1:10 Coming Before the Lord Prelude Opening Music Shout to the Lord -Children s Choir Welcome & Visitor Information Please sign and pass the Friendship Register *Call to Worship Psalm 96:1-2 Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to. *Hymn of Approach - No. 55 To God Be the Glory Prayer of Adoration and Confession Assurance of Pardon (see 2 Timothy 1:13) Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Proclaiming What We Believe *Affirmation of Faith Apostle s Creed (In front cover of hymnal) *Hymn of Faith Blessed Be Your Name (Ushers come forward on last verse) Blessed be Your name, in the land that is plentiful, Where Your streams of abundance flow, blessed be Your name. Blessed Be Your name when I'm found in the desert place; Though I walk through the wilderness, blessed Be Your name. Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise; When the darkness closes in, Lord, still I will say Blessed be Your name. Blessed be Your glo-rious name. Blessed be Your name when the sun's shining down on me, When the world's 'all as it should be', blessed be Your name. Blessed be Your name on the road marked with suffering; Though there's pain in the offering, blessed be Your name. Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise; When the darkness closes in, Lord, still I will say Blessed be Your name. Blessed be Your glo-rious name. You give and take away, You give and take away; My heart will choose to say, Lord, blessed be your name. Blessed be Your name. Blessed be Your glo-rious name. Prayer of Dedication & Presentation of Our Tithes & Offerings Offertory (see 2 Corinthians 9:6-7) The Longer I Serve Him -Choir
