Global Prayer News January March 2018 suicommunications@su international.org https://scriptureunion.global/ Dear Praying Friends On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favour granted us in answer to the prayers of many. 2 Corinthians 1:10b-11 Dear friends and prayer partners, 2018 lies before us like a blank sheet of paper with unknown new mission opportunities, threats and challenges ahead. We do not know how possible changes in the political, cultural or religious environment of our countries may impact our ministry. We do not know where God is opening new ministry fields. But we can be absolutely sure that He is with us and that He still wants us to be partners in His great mission to invite as many people as possible into His Kingdom. Many of us have wonderful memories of our Global Assembly in Malaysia last November where we met colleagues from around the world, listened to their stories and were encouraged for our own ministries. We got to see a glimpse of what God is doing in other parts of the world. This prayer letter is an open invitation to continue caring and sharing. Those who have been in Malaysia and all who love our common SU ministries are invited to listen to the joys and needs of SU movements and the Global Team and support them. By praying for our friends, colleagues and ministry companions around the world we are taking part in the mission God has entrusted to Scripture Union. Thank you for joining us this quarter! With warmest Christian greetings, Monika Kuschmierz International Director 1-6 JANUARY Croatia: Please pray for COW (Camp On Wheels - 4-6 Jan) - a new venture and a new partnership with a church in Slavonski Brod. Please also pray for Narnia, a Winter Camp in Severin na Kupi (11-13 Jan) - for wisdom and joy in preparation, and safety and hearts open to God's Word. Please pray that this will help Farsi-speaking people in Denmark and beyond to come to Christ and grow in faith. 7-13 JANUARY NSW, Australia: Please pray for the Chaffey Dam Water Sports Camp (8-13 Jan) for those who like the outdoors.
