Every aspect of our lives-our gifts as well as our sufferings-can, if surrendered to Christ, lead to blessing for others and ourselves. Every Tuesday, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the church from 3 to 4 p.m. It is an hour of prayer for the priests, religious men and women and an increase of vocations to the priesthood and the religious life of the Church. We invite you to come and spend time with the Lord for these intentions and for your personal requests. Holy Hour closes with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament THE WAY OF THE CROSS On Sunday, March 9th at 7 p.m., the Franciscan Mystery Players will present their moving version of The Way of the Cross in St. Anne s Church. This is a prayerful experience that uses special lighting, stirring soundtrack, pantomime actions and an inspirational narration to portray the Stations of the Cross. This is a phenomenal manner in which it will leave the viewer to contemplate the meaning of the Passion and how it relates to today s life. The Players are a group of 15 teens and 9 adult Advisors from several parishes in the Paterson Diocese. Decorate Church for Easter The church is being decorated for Easter on Holy Saturday at 10:30 a.m.; anyone wishing to help, please come! Thank you. VOCATIONS Finance Committee Meeting There will be a Finance Committee Meeting Monday, March 10th at 7 p.m. in the rectory. Packets are ready to be picked up this weekend. It s imperative that you attend to discuss the financial status of the Parish. STATIONS OF THE CROSS Every Friday - 1 PM & 7 PM The resurrection of Lazarus was a fundamental piece of Christ s ministry. Yet, just as Lazarus had died before, he would die again. Christ s goal was to bring the glorious news of a resurrection without death to the world. The priest, deacon and religious prepare the faithful to attain this through the sole road to salvation: Christ s Church. Are you willing to help the faithful on this road? If so, you may have a vocation to the priesthood, religious or diaconate. Pray about this possibility, and contact the Vocation Office at 973.497.4365 or email kellybar@rcan.org
