KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS SAINT KATERI TEKAKWITHA COUNCIL #12489 Grand Knight Brother Knights, May brought us a new 4th degree member. Congratulations to James Stroud. Rancho San Antonio was a big success. The Golf Tournament was also a big success. A big thank you to those brothers that helped with the confirmation dinner. The Moms enjoyed a great pancake breakfast thanks to the council. The State Convention business meeting in San Diego was about as much fun as visiting the dentist for those of you that know what I mean. The Chapters put on a great spread for all to enjoy and the food sure was great! Jackie and I had a great time with Danny Gallo and Andy & Elaine Garcia. Danny took us to Little Italy Authentic Food and we had a real Italian speaking waiter. I would like to thank those that participated in the annual Memorial Day Flag Ceremony honoring our Men & Woman of the Armed Forces. The Chili Cook-Off / Car Show is this Saturday. Let s GO and win another one for the Gipper. Our next meeting will be June 15, 2017. This meeting will be important because we will be voting in our new officers and we will be sending 2016-2017 Columbian Year to the archives. Just a little reminder to PAY YOUR DUES if you have not done so. Final notices have been mailed out. We don t want to drop anyone. So if you have a hardship please let us know. The Committee heads are doing a great job this year. Let s continue to support them. Please check your e-mails from Brother Ines Torres for important calendar events and send him any special request you might have. Let us pray for our ailing brothers that God will bless them through Jesus Christ and let us support those less fortunate. May God continue to bless all of you. Vivat Jesus Rudy J. Because of his hard work and perseverance, the grotto is now a reality. It took some motivation and doing from Rudy and other brothers to make our grotto become what it is today. A beautiful shrine to Our Lady. The work continues and your help is greatly appreciated. Well Done Worthy Grand Knight Rudy!
